The rooms are a bit outdated and could definitely do with a revamp; however, they provide beautiful overlooks of the ocean and esplanade. The service, while creating some noise at certain times of the day, embodies the Kiwi way of making you feel at home with lovely and helpful staff. The location is excellent, near cafes, restaurants, and the beach, allowing for a perfect balance between exploration and relaxation. The dining experience is decent with lovely food options up to the value of 19.90 AUD. Overall, the hotel offers a great location but lacks soundproofing and a modern touch in the rooms.
